Family Camping in the Uintas

We traveled 1400 miles to camp at Trial Lake with family in Utah. We arrived on Tuesday the 3rd of August and the weather was beautiful, sunny and warm. On Wednesday it rained the entire day. We had our camp all set up on Tuesday and so did Jason. Cindy and Carl got to set up camp in the rain. Lucky for all of us the weather cleared up and we had a great time camping and getting together with family.

Ken's sisters (Dona & Jean) came up for a day of fun with us. Sid (Dona's husband), Karen (a great niece), Chris (Ken's niece) and Chris' grandaughter Serena also joined in the fun. Thanks everyone for making it a great trip. Hope to do it again.

Tennessee Visit

We went to Tennessee for Carter's baptism. We're so proud of you for the choice you made to get baptised. What a handsome boy he is.

We had agreat time with the kids at the neighborhood pool.

The girls really enjoyed the hot tub. I think they would have stayed in there all night.

We played 'Minute to Win It' and had a great time laughing at each other. This is called "Junk in the Trunk" with a kleenex box with ping pong ball inside. You have to shake your tush and get all the ping pong balls out of the box in one minute.

Whitney and Crystal have a cottonball attached to their nose with vasolene and they're trying to get as many as they can across the room into another bowl.

Chari and Brian have pedometers attached to their heads and shaking their heads they are trying to get the number of steps on the pedometer as high as they can.

Candi, Sarah and Crystal drove up from Georgia to join in the celebration.

Brian's parents flew in from Utah to share in the excitement and enjoy being with the family.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Since we were so close to Cleveland, OH we just couldn't miss visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. No cameras were allowed inside so all we could take pictures of is the outside of the building.

Kirtland, OH

In Kirtland, OH we spent the day touring the Church History sites. We also visited the Morely Farm and the Johnson Family Home in Hiram.

Ferry Ride Across Lake Michigan

We took the Lake Express Ferry across Lake Michigan from Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI on our way to Tennessee for Carter's baptism, by way of Kirtland, OH. A few photos of that relaxing adventure.
