We had a very quiet Christmas without any family here to visit.
My brother Jerry and Sister-in-law Janalee came for a visit after Christmas. They flew into Chicago on Wednesday and went to Nauvoo before coming to Wisconsin. They arrived at our house on Friday evening and we stayed up way too late just visiting. Then on Saturday we took them to visit the Amish community and make a few purchases. We then headed over to Wisconsin Dells for a sight seeing tour as there's not much open for business. We went to do more shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall then went to Moose Jaw for a late lunch. We did a driving tour around the capital building in downtown Madison before heading home. It was so much fun to visit with them and have them stay for a couple of days.
We wish you all a very Happy New Year.

Christmas Eve
Today seemed much like a Saturday for us. We shoveled snow drifts from our driveway so we could get out and go shopping. We decided this year we would try something different for dinner. Our usual Christmas Eve dinner is just like Thanksgiving. With all the trimmings. This year we had Prime Rib. We had to shop for a digital thermometer because Prime Rib has to be cooked to the perfect temperature. It turned out great.
Now I'm just setting up this blog and later we will read the Christmas Story from Luke 2.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.
