The Great American Eagle
We took a drive up to Sauk Prairie (which is Sauk City and Prairie du Sac) on the Wisconsin River to do some eagle watching. The eagles nest there as it is a great place for them to find fish in the river. It's a beautiful sight to see these majestic birds perched in the trees and in flight over the river.

anconerOh my goodness! I'd give anything to go see these birds in the wild!!! How amazing is that? It's a thrill to see your photos and know you were there that close to them. I love it!
